Notice of Office Closure

Due to recent health concerns with the Coronavirus (COVID-19), our office will be closed to in-person visitations for the time being.  We are still working and would love to talk to you.  Please call us at 209-966-2417 or email smace@ucanr.edu.  If you have a gardening question, feel free to call our helpline at 209-966-7078 or email us at mgmariposa@ucdavis.edu.  We will be checking messages regularly and will get back to you as soon as possible. Unfortunately, we cannot take physical samples at this time, but pictures can be emailed to us.  Thank you for your patience. 

Help Desk
UC Master Gardeners staff a Helpline serving Mariposa County, including Greeley Hill, Coulterville and Lake Don Pedro. Our volunteer staff promotes successful and sustainable gardening practices by providing home gardeners with research-based information from the University of California and other academic or government institutions. The staff has access to an extensive library, University of California Agricultural Advisors, university internet sites and a microscope for researching home gardening problems. Home gardeners can bring their questions or specimens in or contact the Helpline by phone or email.

March - September:

Winter Hours October - February:

Messages and emails will be promptly responded to.

In addition, gardeners may bring their questions to the UC Master Gardener Booth at the Farmers Market each Wednesday from May to October, 5:00 - 6:30 pm.
